Privacy Policy

Last updated: 14 July 2026

CropSheet is operated by Northvane Management, Raipur, Chhattisgarh, India. This policy explains two separate things, and the whole point of the page is that they stay separate: what happens to your documents (nothing — they never leave your browser), and what happens when you visit a web page (the ordinary things that happen on any free site, which we set out in full below).

The two things, plainly

CropSheet never sees your files. Not stored, not deleted later — never received. There is no server that could receive them.

Your visit to this website is not invisible. Our host logs the request, and the ads we plan to add collect data about your browsing. That is true of almost every free site on the internet, and we are not going to pretend otherwise or bury it in paragraph fourteen.

1. Your files never leave your browser

When you choose a shipping-label PDF, your browser hands the file to JavaScript running inside your own tab. That code reads the pages, crops the labels, extracts the order fields, and builds the Excel — all on your own device, using your own processor. The bytes of your PDF are never transmitted to CropSheet or to anyone else.

This is not a promise about our behaviour. It is a fact about how the site is built: CropSheet is a static website. It is a set of files served to your browser. There is no application server, no database, and no storage bucket on our side that a file could be sent to. We could not read your customers' names and addresses if we were asked to, because we never have them.

Everything in this list stays on your device and is never sent anywhere:

When you close or reload the tab, all of it is gone from memory. Nothing is written to our servers because there are none to write to. Nothing is put in a queue for later.

Don't take our word for it — check

The offline test. Open CropSheet, then turn off your internet — switch on aeroplane mode or pull the Wi-Fi. Now crop your labels. It still works. A tool that uploads your file to a server cannot do that. It takes ten seconds and it settles the question for good.

The technical test. Open your browser's developer tools, go to the Network tab, and process a file. Watch every request. None of them carries your PDF.

This test works on any label-cropping tool, not just ours. Run it on whatever you use.

2. No account, so no personal data of yours to hold

There is no sign-up, no login, and no profile. We do not ask for your name, business name, email, phone number, or GSTIN in order to run the tool, and we do not keep a database of sellers or buyers. If you email us, we obviously have your email and whatever you write in it — that is the only personal information you can give us, and we use it only to answer you.

3. What we (and our host) do see: server logs

Loading any web page reveals something. When your browser asks our server for a page, the server records the request in a standard log: your IP address, the page you asked for, the time, your browser's user-agent string, and the page that referred you. This is how every web server on earth works, and it is what lets us keep the site up and spot abuse.

The site is served from our own server hosted with Amazon Web Services (Mumbai). These logs are used for security and reliability only. They are not sold, not shared, and not combined with anything else — and crucially, they contain nothing about your documents, because your documents never reach the server that writes them.

4. Advertising — not yet, and we'll say so when it starts

CropSheet currently shows no ads and loads no advertising scripts. Right now the only third party involved in your visit is the host that serves the page.

We intend to fund the tool with advertising (Google AdSense) so that it can stay free and unlimited. When that happens, ad scripts will collect data about your browsing — cookies, IP address, device type, and which pages you view. We will update this policy, in full and in plain terms, before the first ad appears, not after.

Whatever the ads eventually collect, one thing will not change: they can never see your documents, because we never receive your documents. That is a property of how the tool is built, not a policy we could quietly revise.

5. Cookies

CropSheet itself sets no cookies and stores nothing in your browser's local storage. It has no session to keep and no preference to remember. If and when we introduce ads, Google will set advertising cookies, and this section will say so before that happens.

6. Children

CropSheet is a tool for e-commerce sellers running a business. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.

7. Your rights, and how to exercise them

Because we hold almost nothing about you, there is very little to request, correct, or erase. Still, if you want to know what we hold, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, write to support@northvane.in and we will respond within 30 days.

Queries and grievances about this policy, or about how your data is handled, should be addressed to us at support@northvane.in. For the advertising cookies described above, the opt-out links give you direct control without needing to involve us at all.

8. Security

The site is served only over HTTPS. Our best security measure is architectural rather than procedural: the most sensitive data in this whole system — your customers' names, addresses and phone numbers — is never in our custody at any point, so there is no store of it to breach, to leak, or to be compelled to hand over.

9. Changes to this policy

We will update this page as the product changes — new marketplaces, new features, and (as noted above) when advertising begins. The “Last updated” date at the top will change with it. A material change that affects what is collected will be described here before it takes effect, not quietly afterwards.

10. Contact

Questions about this policy, or about anything else on this page? Email support@northvane.in, or use the contact page.
