Terms of Use

Last updated: 14 July 2026

These terms govern your use of CropSheet (https://cropsheet.in), operated by Northvane Management, Raipur, Chhattisgarh, India. By using the site you accept them. They are written to be read, not to be survived.

The short version

1. What CropSheet does

CropSheet reads a shipping-label PDF you already have, crops the label down to a 4×6 thermal format, and extracts the order details into a spreadsheet. All of this runs inside your own web browser using JavaScript we serve to you. We do not receive your file, and we operate no server that could. See the privacy policy for exactly what that means.

2. It is free, and it comes with no promises

There is no charge, no subscription, no usage limit and no account. In exchange, there are no service commitments: the site is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranty of any kind, express or implied — including any implied warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or uninterrupted availability. We may change, suspend, or withdraw any part of the site at any time, without notice.

We may introduce paid features in the future. If we do, the paid terms will be presented separately and clearly, and nothing you use free today will silently start costing money.

3. You must check the output before you ship

This is the most important term on the page, so it gets its own section.

CropSheet reads PDFs whose layouts are set by the marketplaces, not by us. Those layouts change without warning. A format change can cause a label to be cropped at the wrong place, a page to come out blank, an order row to be missed, or a figure to be read incorrectly. We work hard to make this rare and to fail visibly rather than silently — for example, we leave a money field blank and warn you rather than printing a wrong number — but we cannot promise it will never happen.

Before you stick a label on a parcel, look at it. Before you file a spreadsheet with your accountant or a tax authority, reconcile it against your seller dashboard. You remain responsible for what you ship and what you file. Misdelivered parcels, courier penalties, marketplace performance strikes, and errors in a GST return are your risk, not ours.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

Found a genuine security issue? Please tell us at support@northvane.in rather than publishing it. We will not threaten you for reporting one in good faith.

5. Ownership

The CropSheet name, the site, its design, and its code are owned by Northvane Management. You get a personal, revocable, non-exclusive right to use the site for its intended purpose. Nothing here transfers ownership of anything to you.

Your documents remain entirely yours. We claim no licence, no rights, and no interest in them — which is easy for us to promise, because we never receive them in the first place. The 4×6 labels and the Excel file the tool produces are yours to use however you like.

Amazon, Flipkart, Meesho and other marketplace names are trademarks of their respective owners. CropSheet is an independent tool. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to any marketplace. We name them only to describe which document formats the tool can read.

6. Advertising

The site is funded by advertising. Ads shown on CropSheet are served by third parties (Google and its partners), and the products or claims in them are the advertiser's, not ours. We do not endorse them and we are not responsible for them. What those ads collect about your visit is set out in the privacy policy.

7. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Northvane Management will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, goodwill, orders, or data, arising out of or connected with your use of CropSheet — whether the claim is framed in contract, tort, negligence, or otherwise, and even if we were told such loss was possible.

Where liability cannot lawfully be excluded, our total aggregate liability to you for all claims is limited to ₹1,000 (one thousand rupees). We mention the figure plainly rather than hiding it: this is a free tool, we take no money from you, and we cannot carry the commercial risk of your shipments.

Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot be limited under Indian law, including liability for fraud.

8. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the product changes. The “Last updated” date at the top will change when we do. Continuing to use the site after an update means you accept the revised terms. We will not backdate a change to affect something that already happened.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. The courts at Raipur, Chhattisgarh have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them or from your use of the site.
